...If the "end" HAD come...
UPPER, MIDDLE, LOWER and NO CLASS
There are only two distinct classes in the United States today.
There are the people WITH problems, and those WITHOUT problems. Most of us are WITHS. We face the day to day crisis mill about house payments or car repairs. Health care or employment issues. We tackle the daily survival game in varied degrees, but most of the time it comes down to making it for another day somehow.
Then there are those WITHOUT. Multiple homes with staffs of people to handle the problems we WITHS are dealing directly with. No worries about their next meals or how their children will get through college. The main concerns revolve around what golf ball to use or where to fly for the 4th vacation of the year.
One fact rings true between these two classes: Those WITHOUT problems are usually the creators of most of the WITH'S problems. Funny, ain't it?
It's also funny how most of the time, those who are WITHOUT problems are also somehow affiliated with politics or policy making for large groups of the WITHS.
One more thing... there are more WITHS than WITHOUTS.
With our problems, our crisis, our attentions turned to daily life, many of the WITHS forget this fact and how they can change things. Strength in numbers. Votes, that is.
We need to take a few minutes every day to look at the WITHOUTS and make sure that in the next election we participate in, they become WITHS, WITHOUT a job.
